The brain has always fascinated the medical community and scientists — despite advances in diagnostic tools, it remains a mystery. Jean-Pierre Barral, working with patients after head injuries, strokes and neurological diseases, developed original techniques for manual work with the brain.
Program
Jean-Pierre Barral has been interested in the brain for over 40 years. Working for years with people after head injuries, strokes, brain diseases and psychomotor disabilities, he created original techniques that can help these patients. This first course covers the structural approach to the brain.
Prerequisites: Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 1 (VM1), Visceral Manipulation: Abdomen 2 (VM2), and Neuromeningeal Manipulation: An Integrative Approach to Trauma (NM1). Listening Techniques 1 (LT1) is recommended, not required.
Building on the foundations laid in MAB1, this course delves deeper into the intricate workings of the brain, broadening its scope with additional structures and functions — including the ear, language, pain, emotions, memory and balance.
Prerequisites: MAB1
Delves deeper into patient care, focusing on individuals with specific conditions. This advanced material empowers manual therapy practitioners to adopt a fresh perspective when approaching systemic diseases.
Prerequisites: MAB2
Continues the deep dive into patient care for individuals with specific conditions, further empowering practitioners to approach complex systemic pathologies with a fresh clinical perspective.
Prerequisites: MAB3
